Funny how things end up…. I made the decision to stay with this company and see what happens. I followed my gut, sticking with the devil I know and I found out today that they fired the headmaster of the school and they gave me the position.

Yes…. I know I can’t believe it. He told my that he liked how I worked efficient and quickly. He knew things would get done quick if I was in charge. So the guy who hired me was fired and I currently have his job.

I feel bad for that guy and he probably regrets hiring me. But hard work and determination pays off.  Say what you want about American People but we as a whole are hard workers. We get shit done.

I’m proud of myself and I will make sure they know they made the right choice.
Until next time ….

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I am a career switcher trying getting into the education field and I have been silently reading your blog for several years now. Impressed each time you post, getting inspired each time I see you update and bravely share your experiences beyond the U.S. and happen to be an African American woman. I am too AA and this give me and I am sure many of your followers the aspirations and hope that is so needed in our day and time. Congratulations to you on your well deserved promotion and accomplishments, I wish you all the best.
